Should I Hire A Designer?
There are A LOT of elements to consider when planning a renovation and/or custom home. You will be tasked with choosing plumbing fixtures, flooring, paint colors, cabinet styles and colors, floor plan layout, countertops, lighting… the list goes on and on!
Do you have an upcoming project but you don’t know where to start? Or maybe you just don’t have the time? An interior designer, such as us, can be a HUGE help and stress reliever throughout the selections process.
When you hire a designer, you have two options:
Allow the designer to make all of the decisions for you
Have the designer narrow down your unlimited selections to provide a few options from which you can choose from (this is how we prefer to do it!)
What is especially helpful through the process is that a designer has the unique ability to visualize how your selections will all come together in your future space. With this skill they can then help YOU to better visualize everything through “mood boards” or “vision boards.”
Regardless, hiring a designer isn’t the right fit for everyone, but how do you know if it is the right fit for you?
Hiring a designer would be worth it for you if…
You have a difficult time visualizing your desired space(s)
You don’t necessarily have an “eye” for putting different finishes and colors together
You do not have ample time to dedicate to the selections process
You will be overwhelmed and stressed by the multitude of styles and colors available to decide on all of the project materials
You simply don’t know how to bring everything together!
Either way, if it’s a small project like a kitchen backsplash or a large scale renovation, you deserve a space that reflects who you are! If you are unsure if you can make that a reality, we are here to help!
Don’t ever hesitate to reach out to us. We would be honored to help you however we can!
